Hybrid cells combine a variety of joining technologies including arc and resistance welding, and also resistance welding and gluing. Furthermore, products in one production run can have two consecutive welding steps. The products are very accurately placed in the jigs and welded geometrically. Subsequently the product is removed by a handling robot and welded without using the jig. Furthermore, applications such as quality control and automatic removal are also carried out. This makes these machines extremely efficient and ensures maximum machine utilisation. This makes it possible to carry out all the required joins on your product within one single cycle. Other types of cells require several runs or even more cells for the same operation. Smart machine concepts result in lower capital investments.
